Family Time and DIY Projects: A Personal Update

I has been a while since I posted anything! Well here goes,

Last month, my daughter has an opportunity for sales in Pikeville. She offered to take my pens and see if any would sell. She said she had a lot of interest but no sales.

The following week was Thanksgiving. That was primary family time. My son and his family came in from Missouri, My granddaughter and great granddaughter cam in from South Carolina. Another granddaughter came in from Wisconsin and a grandson from Illinois. I got to visit with my three kids and al of my grandkids for thanksgiving. What a fun time.

Home made Paper towel holder

Last week I finally cut the parts for a Paper towel holder on my CNC. I should have spent more time on the holder. It’s shop furniture so I didn’t. It isn’t pretty plain but it does the job.

This week I am working on a sign for my shop. I am experimenting with paint before I put it on the CNC. The foreground will be black while the background will be natural wood. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get it done. If that works as expected, then I will do another one which is twice as big for the outside front of my shop and maybe another one for the inside.

If it warms up. I will be starting the build of the cart for my CNC. I’ll keep you apprised of that as well.

That’s all for today! Give me a ” Like” ir a comment to let me knowyou are out there!
